Website Redesign — http://www.healthymarriageinfo.org/

This project is no longer live or was changed.

HMI.org was my first large redesign project in my career as a Front-End developer. It was really exciting to build things I had never built before, and learn how to conform to standards and best practices. I also took my first headfirst dive into JavaScript, as I had to write several resource index pages with faceted searches and I had never done anything like that before.

Involvement

Static coding from PSD and integration into an in-house CMS called REIgnition. REIgnition used XSLT for templating, which I had never used before in any manner, so learning that was a large part of the project. By the end, I was practically an expert in XSLT.

Fun Fact

During this project, I was engaged, and got married a few weeks before it launched. I didn't really learn much from the content of the site, though, as I was too busy building features and fixing bugs!
